COLLEGE PARK, Md. – A new era of Maryland volleyball begins Saturday as the team plays in Comcast Pavilion for the first time under new head coach Steve Aird and staff in conjunction with Maryland Day.
The Red-White intrasquad scrimmage will be held from 12 – 2 p.m. with doors opening at 11 a.m. The Terrapins feature an exciting returning corps, including 2013 all-conference performers Ashleigh Crutcher and Adreené Elliott.
Following the scrimmage, the volleyball team will be signing autographs in the athletics tent outside of Hornbake Library from 3 – 4 p.m. In addition to a bevy of giveaways, players and coaches will be providing fun skills and instruction to passerby. Fans are encouraged to follow the team on Facebook and Twitter.
