GREENSBORO, N.C. - University of Maryland freshman Alexandra Stanova was named to the 2014 All-ACC Women’s Tennis Third Team, the conference announced Wednesday.
One of the only freshman to ever lead Maryland from the top singles position, Stanova has had a solid debut season in College Park, performing admirably against some of the nation’s toughest competition.
The native of Slovakia has three singles wins and formed a solid partnership with Olivia Gaudreault at No. 2 doubles.
