Hannah Wilkinson joined the University of Maryland as a strength coach in the 2013-14 academic year. Wilkinson oversees the strength and conditioning programs for women’s volleyball and women’s gymnastics. Wilkinson also manages the Maryland Strength and Conditioning website and social networks.
Prior to coming to Maryland, Wilkinson spent two years at the University of Utah, located in Salt Lake City. During her two year stay at Utah she worked primarily with volleyball, baseball, football, swimming and diving, women’s basketball, and men’s tennis.
Wilkinson graduated from Elk Point- Jefferson High School SD., in 2008. She began her collegiate volleyball career at Brigham Young University-Hawaii. After two season with the BYU-H Seasiders Wilkinson transferred to Mississippi State University. In 2011 Wilkinson lead the NCAA in hitting. Following her senior season Wilkinson received her bachelor's degree from Mississippi State University, December 2011. Wilkinson is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA. She is also a Level I USA Weightlifting Coach. Wilkinson currently resides in College Park, MD.
