Terps Set to Open Season in Colorado

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland men's golf team will head west this weekend to open the 2013-14 season in the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational at the Eisenhower Golf Course at the Air Force Academy in Colorado.

The Terps will look to returnees in senior All-ACC honoree Sean Bosdosh, juniors Ben Warnquist and Jordan Sweet, sophomore Tom Harris and freshman Victor Fox to lead them this weekend.

Bosdosh finished 15th in the ACC in scoring average (72.35) last year and his season accolades included two individual tournament wins at the VCU Shootout and the Firestone Invitational. The Clarksburg, Md. native’s 72.35-season average from last year is the third best in Maryland history, and he recorded a streak of ten straight top-20 finishes over the course of the year.

Other teams in competition are Air Force, UMKC, Colorado, Colorado State, Nevada, New Mexico State, Northern Colorado, Southern Utah, Texas El Paso, Utah, Utah State, Weber State, Wichita State and Wyoming.
