ADA TICKET FRAUD
Ticket fraud includes, but is not limited to, the misrepresentation of a disability. Maryland Athletics reserves the right to take appropriate action regarding misrepresentation, which may result in relocation, revocation of tickets, or ejection.
Any attempt to bring alcohol into the arena will be considered a violation of facility regulations and may result in the guest being denied admittance, ejected, arrested, and/or tickets being revoked. Please refer to PROHIBITED ITEMS for more information.
Maryland Craft and National Brand beers are available for purchase at stands throughout XFINITY Center. Anyone appearing to be under the age of 40 will be required to present a valid government issued photo ID for service. Please have your ID ready to present. There is a limit of one beer per person per transaction. Beer sales stop at the end of the third quarter even if fans are still in line. Anyone misrepresenting their age to obtain beer or anyone providing beer to anyone under 21 years of age will be immediately ejected from the arena and criminally prosecuted. The University reserves the right to refuse alcoholic beverage service to anyone at its sole discretion. Please take a look at the Alcohol FAQ if you have any other questions.
Animals are not permitted inside XFINITY Center, with the exception of service animals and service animals-in-training for guests with disabilities. Please refer to PROHIBITED ITEMS for more information.

There is a Capital One Bank automated teller machine (ATM) located on the Plaza Level (2nd level) to the right of the Terrapin Team Shop.

BANNERS, SIGNS, & FLAGS
Signs must be handheld, event-related, in good taste, and cannot obstruct another guest's view. They may not contain commercial messages, logos, or political endorsements and may not be hung on the arena structure. Signs or flags on sticks or poles are not permitted. Maryland Athletics reserves the right to confiscate signs that are in violation of arena policy.
BOTTLES & CANS
Bottles, cans, and other beverage containers may not be brought into XFINITY Center. Searches are conducted at the gates to prevent these and other prohibited items from entering the arena. Still cameras may be used at any time provided that their use does not interfere with other guests' ability to enjoy the game day experience; however, flash photography is not permitted as it may disrupt play. CHILDREN'S TICKET POLICY
Children two (2) years of age and under do not need a ticket for admission; however, they must be seated in the lap of a parent or guardian and not interfere with the sight line of other patrons.
Closed captioning of the game announcements will be available on four ribbon boards on the corners of the arena.

ELECTRONIC TICKET SCANNING
All tickets will be electronically scanned in order to verify authenticity. Tickets that have been scanned upon entry cannot be used by another guest.
Elevators are located on the east side of XFINITY Center that provide access to the Ground, Plaza (2nd Level), and Concourse (3rd Level) Levels. An additional elevator near Gate F provides access between the Plaza (2nd Level) and Concourse (3rd Level) Levels.
Should you need immediate assistance, please notify the nearest usher, security personnel, police officer, or visit First Aid behind Section 209 or Fan Assistance at the top of Section 106.
In the event of an arena emergency pertinent information regarding the emergency situation and evacuation procedures will be provided over the public address system and on stadium video boards.

Escalators are located on the East end of the Plaza Level (2nd Level) of XFINITY Center inside of the entrances; more specifically, behind Sections 107, 108, 207, & 208. Escalators run between the Plaza (2nd Level) and Concourse (3rd Level) Levels.
Each of the 37 restrooms located conveniently throughout XFINITY Center are accessible to guests with small children and equipped with baby-changing tables. Two (2) private, family restrooms located at the top of Sections 105 and 110 on the Plaza Level (2nd Level) have been designated for the exclusive use of guests with small children and guests with disabilities.
The Fan Assistance is located at the top of Section 106 inside of XFINITY Center to assist fans with questions, problems, or concerns.
FAN CODE OF CONDUCT
The Terrapins are committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for all fans, both in the arena and in the parking lots. We want all fans attending our games to enjoy the experience in a responsible fashion.
Event patrons are responsible for their conduct as well as the conduct of their guest and/or persons using their tickets. Even if the season ticket holders give away or sell their tickets to the game, the account holder is accountable for the actions of those using the tickets. Accounts can be forfeited partially or entirely for violations of the Code of Conduct.
Fans who demonstrate inappropriate and disruptive behavior, including the following, are subject to ejection and season ticket holders risk losing their season ticket account and/or parking privileges for:
- Excessive consumption of alcohol
- Illegal purchase of alcohol by/for any individual under the age of 21
- Obscene, offensive or abusive language and actions
- Fighting, or otherwise dangerous, abusive or profane behavior
- Interfering with other guests ability to see the game
- Smoking inside of XFINITY Center
- Scalping or other improper resale of tickets
- Interfering with security procedures
- Interfering with the process of the game or going onto the court
- Throwing any objects onto the court or in the arena
- Any action warranting ejection and/or confiscation of game tickets by police or arena security

Disabled seating is available at three locations throughout XFINITY Center:

- At the top of Sections 105 and 106 on the Plaza Level (2nd Level) on the Southeast side of XFINITY Center
- At the bottom of Section 107 on the East side of XFINITY Center*
*This seating area is accessible by entering XFINITY Center through Gate C at the Southeast corner on the Ground Level and proceeding inside to the third door on the left (marked "To Arena/Event Level). A wheelchair ramp is available at this location.
To obtain seating in any of these three (3) areas, guests must exchange their tickets for tickets enabling them to sit in these areas at the Terrapin Ticket Office, located inside the South Plaza Gate on the Plaza Level (2nd Level) at the Southeast corner of the arena. Guests with disabilities are permitted one (1) guest each in these locations.
Heritage Hall, located on the East side of XFINITY Center on the Plaza level (2nd Level), is a multi-purpose room (capacity 200 seated) equipped to host banquets, press conferences, meetings and serve as a pre-game restaurant suite overlooking the competition arena. LOST & FOUND
Lost items may be turned-in to any Maryland Guest Services Representative, usher, or to Fan Assistance at the top of Section 106. Guests needing to claim or report lost items during an event should also visit the Fan Assistance Center.
Guests inquiring about lost items at previous events should call the Maryland Athletics Facilities, Operations & Events office at (301) 314-7126. Items lost at prior games are held in a secured area for 30 days and are then either disposed of or donated to an appropriate charitable organization. Maryland Athletics is not responsible for any lost or damaged items.
LOST CHILDREN & GUESTS
Lost children and Guests should be taken to Fan Assistance at the top of Section 106. Parents looking for a lost child should contact the nearest usher or security personnel and then go to the Fan Assistance.

The M Club Foundation exists within the University of Maryland Athletic Department to provide former Terrapin athletic letter winners the opportunity to continue to be involved in Maryland Athletics once their eligibility has expired. There are no better ambassadors for Maryland Athletics than those who have competed while wearing the Terrapin colors. The M Club provides these former student athletes with the avenue to give back to the institution that they represented so well.

Only authorized and properly credentialed personnel will be permitted on XFINITY Center floor before, during, or after a game. Any unauthorized person going onto the floor will be removed from the arena and subject to arrest.

PROHIBITED ITEMS & BEHAVIOR
The Big Ten promotes good sportsmanship by student-athletes, coaches and spectators. We request your cooperation by supporting the participants and officials in a positive manner. Profanity, racial or sexist comments or other intimidating actions directed at officials, student-athletes, coaches or team representatives will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from the site of competition. Out of concern for the safety of our guests and employees, the following is prohibited. Disruptive behavior is not accepted at Maryland Athletics events. Disruptive behavior constitutes actions that diminish other fans ability to enjoy the game day atmosphere including but not limited to: threats, threatening behavior, interfering with other guests' ability to see the game and throwing objects. These actions or any other actions deemed disruptive by arena staff will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from the arena and other potential consequences include ticket suspension, ticket revocation, arrest and prosecution.
Promotional items have individual restrictions and give away dates are subject to change without prior notice. Please remember that a game ticket does not ensure or entitle the holder to a promotional item on that date and that only one item will be distributed per person. Please be considerate of other guests by taking only one promotional item.
No appeals will be made over the public address system. Requests of an emergency nature should be addressed to the nearest usher, security personnel, or police officer.

RADIOS & TELEVISIONS
Handheld radios and televisions are permitted inside of XFINITY Center as long as they are not larger than 8" x 11" x 12" and do not distract from the enjoyment of other guests. For the comfort of those seated around you, headphones are required.

Guests may not exit and re-enter the arena using the same ticket; however, in case of an emergency, a guest may receive a signature on their ticket from a gate supervisor, which will permit a guest to re-enter the arena. Guests that leave the arena, at any time, without the signature from a gate supervisor, will not be permitted to re-enter the arena with the same ticket.

Terp Hosts are a guest relations staff that will work throughout XFINITY Center each basketball game day. This staff is trained to conduct stadium security, crowd control and, of course, The Maryland Way. The Maryland Way is about sportsmanship in the stands as well as on the court. Maryland athletics promotes an atmosphere where fans, home and visiting, interact in a positive, thoughtful and friendly way. Maryland athletics has developed a work force called Terp Hosts to prioritize guest relations on basketball game day. Terp Hosts will be positioned strategically throughout the arena to welcome fans to each game and provide assistance in helping all of our guests have the most enjoyable experience possible.

Dr. H.C. "Curly" Byrd, the former football coach who later became University President, recommended the Diamondback turtle as Maryland's mascot in1932 in response to the student newspaper's search for an "official" leader. The class of 1933 sponsored as its graduation gift the permanent, bronzed terrapin that watches over McKeldin Mall to this day.
