    As a junior (2013): Saw time as a designated player and at first base for the second half of the season...started in 45 of 57 games and played in 48...missed eight games after suffering a concussion vs. Nebraska (Feb. 22)...hit .316 on the year and ended the season on a 17-game hit streak...picked up 17 doubles on the season to lead the ACC and the second-most in a season in school history...went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI vs. LIU Brooklyn (Feb. 17)...went 2-for-3 vs. Nebraska with an RBI and a triple (Feb. 22)...went 2-for-4 with an RBI vs. Iowa (March 9)...went 5-for-6 in midweek doubleheader at George Mason (April 10) to jumpstart her 17-game hit streak...went 2-for-3 with two RBI in run-rule win over Georgia Tech to take the series (April 14) doubleheader vs. UNC, went 4-for-7 with three doubles and four RBI to take series (April 27).

    As a sophomore (2012): Played in 55 of 56 games and started in 51...started as the DP in 27 games, at first in 18 games, including the last 13 games of the season due to an injured teammate...also saw time in the outfield and as a pinch hitter...named to NFCA All-Region First Team as a DP...finished No. 9 in the ACC in batting average with .318, fourth in on-base percentage (.474) and third in walks with 38...her 38 walks this year were third-best in school history...hit first career grand slam vs. UMass (March 2)...went on a nine-game hit streak from April 14-25 with 13 hits, seven RBI, and four doubles....named ACC Player of the Week when she hit .538 with seven hits and seven RBI (April 24) that week, she hit three doubles and drove in four RBI at NC State (April 21-22)...had 10 multi-hit games.

    As a freshman (2011): Saw action in 54 games and started in 35 at first base, designated players or in the outfield...hit .215 on the year with 23 hits, seven runs scored and 16 RBI...hit three home runs, three doubles and two triples...came in as a pinch hitter in all five postseason games...went 2-for-2 vs. Longwood (March 5) and also hit her first career home run, a solo shot...hit her second home run in game one of a doubleheader vs. NCAA Regionals team Fordham (March 16)...hit her third in ACC season opener at of 39 players in the league to have a perfect fielding percentage.

    Before Maryland: Played first base for Paramus Catholic of NJ... Hit .400 in freshman campaign as the Paladins went 17-3... As a sophomore, led team to 18-2 record and hit .350... Helped team post 18-2 record and hit .325 as a junior... Hit .500 as the Paladins went 20-6 in senior year... Named 1st, 2nd and 3rd team All-League... 1st team All-County... 2nd team All-State... ESPN Rise All-American... Captain of team Junior and Senior year... Played for Don Meister on team Inferno all four years in high school... Received 1st and 2nd honors and named to National Honors Society.

    Personal: Daughter of Henry and Karen Beards... father played football at Iowa... earned her black belt at age of 6... biggest thrill came as she hit a grand slam in the bottom of the 7th on a 3-2 count... before every game she prays... is the cousin of rapper 50 Cent... Letters and Sciences major... would like to become a teacher.
