As a Freshman in 2004: Made five appearances and one start for the Terps ... scored a run vs. St. Francis (April 15) ... made first-career start at third base in game two of George Mason doubleheader (April 6) ... earned first-career hit and drove in a run in a pinch hit appearance against Rhode Island (Feb. 21) ... also scored a run in that game.

Before Maryland: Earned four varsity letters as a pitcher at Damascus High School ... named an honorable mention to the Washington Post's All-Metro team in 2002 and 2003 ... selected for first team honors by both the Montgomery Journal and Frederick Post in 2002 and 2003 ... served as her high school's captain during her junior and senior seasons ... named team MVP her senior year ... participated in the Old Line Softball Classic Senior All-Star Game ... sported a 10-3 record with a 0.33 ERA during her senior season ... put for the gold medal winning performance with her softball team at the 2002 Greater Washington Maccabi Games.

Personal: Daughter of Richard and Diane Wides ... has two sisters, Nicole and Jessica ...
