Saw action in 30 games with 13 starts at guard ... led the Lady Monarchs in assists (121), averaging 4.0 per game ... reset her career-high in assists with 12 against UCLA ... handed out five or more assists on 11 occasions ... ranked sixth in the CAA in assists and third in the conference in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.66) ... tied for third on team with 33 steals ... scored a season-high 13 points versus North Carolina.

1999-2000 At Old Dominion
Finished third in the CAA in assists (5.24), sixth in steals (2.09), and eighth in three-point shooting (35.7%), she was named CAA Rookie of the Year and CAA All-Rookie ... she scored in double figures eight times ... dished out a career-best 10 assists three times ... Spence netted a career- high 17 points against East Carolina on 6-of-10 shooting ... she collected a career-high eight steals against St. John's.

Before College
Over her final two seasons, led Chatfield High School to a 44-4 record and back-to-back Colorado state championships ... during both of those years, she was named the MVP of the state championship game ... over the last two years of her career, Spence collected a 40-0 record in state play ... a four-year letterwinner in basketball ... she averaged 12.9 points, 6.9 assists, and 4.1 steals per game ... finished her career as the all-time assist leader in the state of Colorado ... shot an impressive 84.9% from the charity stripe ... a Parade All-American her senior year, she was a four-time All-State selection as well as an Academic All-State selection ... she participated in the Nike All-America Camp held in Indianapolis and was invited to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Invitational Camp ... because of her All-America status, had her jersey displayed at the opening of the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in Knoxville, Tenn. ... her jersey is retired at Chatfield High.
