"Financial Literacy"
Student-athletes as a result of the challenges of managing coursework and extracurricular activities often avoid the subject of financial literacy.  In fact, money-related-issues are the number one stressor amongst college students.

Join Ken Handy, an alum and local financial advisor, who will share the basics of financial budget management while also delving into the ups and downs of living in a major metropolitan area.  Student-athletes will learn how to develop a basic financial plan for their future by developing a mock monthly budget plan based on an entry-level salary.

Objective(s): Student-athletes should be able to address three to five budgetary categories that will impact their financial well being after graduation.
