Before College: Three-year starter in lacrosse and soccer at Radnor High School in Radnor, Pa. ... was a high school All-American for the Red Raiders as a senior ... totaled 95 points on 48 goals and 47 assists in his final year ... honored as an all-state, all-Delaware County, all-Suburban and all-Central League as a senior ... team advanced to state final four his senior year ... as a senior ... earned all-Central League honors in soccer and led team to district title in 2001 and to district second place finish in 2002.
Personal: Goes by Xander, which is pronounced "Zand-err" ... son of Cindy and Joe Ritz ... brother of Terp sophomore Max and Georgia ... father, Joe, played football and was a member of the wrestling and crew teams at Marist in the late `70s ... chose to transfer to Maryland to be in a more metropolitan area and because of the great lacrosse history ... majoring in history.
