Before Maryland: Lettered three years in lacrosse at Northport High School in Northport, N.Y., under coaches George Searing and Robert Macaluso ... honored as an All-American as a senior after scoring 57 goals and handing out 31 assists for 88 points ... led the Tigers to the Long Island championship and the New York State championship game with a record of 22-1 ... earned all-county and all-division accolades as a junior and senior ... served as a team captain as a senior ... invited to try out for the United States U-19 World Team ... notched 96 points as junior on 61 goals and 35 assists and 31 points as a freshman to set the school record for scoring with 215 points in three years.
