As a Junior (2012): Led the team with a .319 batting average overall and a .415 average in Atlantic Coast Conference games ... played in 46 games with 37 starts ... his .415 average in league games would have led the ACC but he was 10 plate appearances shy of qualifying ... an excellent defensive catcher, throwing out 16 of 31 runners attempting to steal ... committed just five errors in 294 chances, a .983 fielding percentage ... had a team-high eight sacrifice hits, ending the season with 24 in his career which is tied for fourth in school history ... went 1-for-2 with a RBI double against Navy (3/7) ... went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored against St. Peter's (3/14) ... hit an RBI single in his only at bat on March 17 against UNC ... went 2-for-3 and had an RBI against Boston College (3/31) ... finished the series against BC 3-for-6 ... had a two-run double while going 1-for-3 against Duke (4/14) ... went 9-for-12 in the Clemson series (4/20-21), recording three hits in the first game, a career-high four in the second and two in the finale ... went 1-for-3 with a run scored against Towson (4/24) ... had an RBI and a run scored while going 1-for-2 against Virginia Tech (4/28) ... scored a career-high two runs while going 3-for-3 with a double, RBI, walk and HBP against Virginia (5/17) ... went 3-for-4 with a run against Virginia (5/18) ... finished the UVA series 6-for-10 with four runs, a RBI, two HBPs and a walk.
