Meharg on Kenney: "Coming off of knee surgery and a medical redshirt year, Heather had a good spring and competed in summer league. Heather is a great left-side player and her stickwork is excellent. Her workrate is unconditional."

International Experience: Reached the championship game of the U.S. Field Hockey Summer League as a member of the Tempest Tidewater that defeated Southern Charm, the five-time league champion.

As a junior in 2003: Played in two games this season, making first appearance as a Terrapin in her old stomping grounds in Amherst, Mass., vs. New Hampshire ... missed the rest of the season due to injury.

As a sophomore in 2002: Saw playing time in 18 games ... tied for eighth on her team in points with 2.

As a freshman in 2001: played in 21 games posting 16 starts as a true freshman ... finished seventh on the team in points with five ... scored goals against LaSalle (Oct. 13) and Harvard (Sept. 26) ... had an assist on the only goal scored in a 1-0 victory over St. Joseph's (Oct. 20) ... selected to the Atlantic-10 All-Tournament team ... named second team regional All-American by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association ...
