On Blongiewicz: A very good open-field tackler with deceptive passing skills ... played the sweeper position for the Terps during the spring season.

As a redshirt freshman in 2002: Played in four home games over the course of the season in the backfield for a defense ranked fourth in the nation at 1.10 ... UM defense did not allow a shot or penalty corner to Boston University (Sept. 15) and limited Drexel (Sept. 6) and Massachusetts (Sept. 13) to one shot ... one of 11 Terps named to ACC Honor Roll.

As a freshman in 2001: A redshirt season.

Before Maryland: A standout midfielder at nearby Quince Orchard ... helped lead her team to regional championships in 1999, 2000 and 2001 ... squad amassed a 41-6 record in her three years ... participated the National Futures Tournament, the National Hockey Festival and the USFHA National Indoor Tournament with her club team, the Washington Wolves, coached by former Maryland assistant Steve Simpson ... also a high school standout in track and lacrosse ... took fourth place in the 400m at the state track meet during her senior season ... center on the 1999 regional championship lacrosse squad.
