Playing in the nation's toughest conference, the ACC, Terrapin women's soccer players have the opportunity to excel at the highest level of college soccer.
With that excellence comes national recognition. Overall, 13 Terps have earned 18 All-America accolades during the past 21 seasons.
Jasmyne Spencer earned NSCAA All-America honors in 2010, as well as being named one of Soccer America's 2010 MVPs.
Mallory Mahar earned a third-team selection in 2004. Kelly Amonte was the first, being named a second team NSCAA All-American in 1993.
Erin Taylor was the first Terp to be named a first team NSCAA All-American in 1996 after leading Maryland to the quarterfinals of the NCAA tournament. Taylor was also selected the ACC's Player of the Year in 1996.
Keri Sarver, the team's all-time leader in points, goals and assists, was a first team honoree by the Soccer Times in 1998.
