Before Maryland: Played at The Island Volleyball Academy...four-year standout at outside hitter for the MVP as a junior and senior en route to all-county and all-state selections...also named to all-county and all-state tournament teams...League 1 Player of the Year in 2009...Outstanding Senior Award for Class of 2009...Newsday Long Island Player of the Year in 2008 and won county and Long Island championships in 2009 and advanced to state finals for the first time in school history...all-county selection in final three seasons...rookie of the year in 2005.
