Position: Shortstop/Utility
Height: 5'10"
Year: Senior

Watten On Jackson: "Amber is one of the best all-around players in the country, and will definitely have an enormous impact on the positive growth of the Terrapin softball program this year. Graduating and transferring from Bethune-Cookman College, to spend her senior year of eligibility competing for the Terps and working on her master's degree at Maryland, Amber has proven to be a great role model for her teammates as she has been faced with many challenges in her adjustment between schools and programs. Amber is as demanding of herself on the field as she is in the classroom, which, as a result, has enabled her to further herself academically as well as athletically. She is a player with great strength and speed on offense, while possessing amazing range and game sense on defense. Amber is truly a leader by example, and is a player who has stepped in and provided immediate positive energy and unity for the team."
