As a redshirt sophomore (2012): Saw action in nine games - vs. #15 Ohio State, #19 UMass, Dartmouth, against #18 Boston College, against Temple, vs. UC Davis, vs. Towson, vs. Rutgers and vs. #22 Duke in the ACC Tournament Quarterfinals...made first career start vs. UC Davis (Oct. 14)...recorded at least a save against #15 Ohio State (Sept. 2), against #19 UMass (Sept. 8) and vs. UC Davis (Oct. 14)...notched a three saves to help preserve Terps' come-from-behind win over #18 Boston College (Sept. 14)...notched a career-high six saves in the second half alone vs. Temple (Sept. 30)...had four saves vs. UC Davis (Oct. 14)...started vs. Rutgers and notched two saves off the Scarlet Knights' four shots (Oct. 26)...started in ACC Tournament Quarterfinals vs. #22 Duke and notched three saves (Nov. 1)...named to ACC's Academic Honor Roll.

Before Maryland: All-conference goalie for Greenwich High School...four-year varsity starter...two-time state champions and FCIAC champions...2009 team MVP and All-Region player...played lacrosse in 2008 and went to state championship in 2009...also played for Fairfield County United from 2008-10.

Personal: Brooke Catherine Cabrera...daughter of Joe and Debbie Cabrera...has three siblings, Katie, Tyler and Jim, who was an All-American in lacrosse at Middlebury...father played football at Columbia...chose Maryland for athletics and academics...enjoys riding horses and photography.
