As a sophomore in 2009:
Saw action in 17 of 24 games...found the net twice against Northwestern (Aug. 31)...took six shots on the year...earned time in four out of five ACC regular season games and 17 of 18 regular season games...member of ACC championship team and NCAA finalist team.

As a freshman in 2008:
Saw time in 11 games including ACC contests against Duke and North Carolina...scored on a breakaway in the NCAA quarterfinal victory over Duke (Nov. 16)...tallied her first collegiate goal in the regular-season finale against VCU...all seven of her shot attempts on the season were shots on goal...recorded two shots on goal in three games, including versus Richmond (Sept. 28), VCU and Duke.

Before Maryland:
A four-year starter of the varsity field hockey team at Broadneck High School, setting the all-time scoring record, tallying 54 goals and 15 assists...helped the Bruins capture the 2007 county crown, scoring 20 goals that season...selected The Annapolis Capital's Player of the Year while earning first team all-state honors...also a first team all-metro pick by The Washington Post, The Baltimore Sun and The Baltimore Examiner, garnering all-county nods for the second-straight year by the Capital, Post and Sun...received the "Bruin Award" as a junior recognizing the student-athlete with outstanding leadership and commitment...also lettered three times in lacrosse, earning first team All-Anne Arundel County honors.

Personal:
Majoring in kinesiology...named to the Principal's Honor Roll, was a member of the Student Government Association...also named Broadneck Student of the Week...youngest of three children of Renee and Thomas Strother...father ran track at Montclair State and mother was a gymnast at Glassboro State (now Rowan College)....has an older brother, Sammy (27), and older sister Kaitlin (23)...Brigitte Suzanne Strother was born in Annapolis, Md., on January 23, 1990.
