Before Maryland: Member of the 2009 High School Tewaaraton Award Watch List ... ranked the No. 38 freshman midfielder in the nation by Inside Lacrosse ... as a junior in 2008, Cooper scored 12 goals and dished out 19 assists while consistently drawing double-teams in his first season as a midfielder ... named to the Baltimore Sun's All-Anne Arundel County team ... an All-Gazette selection ... as an attackman in 2007, helped guide Spalding to its first-ever MIAA "A" playoff berth ... totaled 38 points on 13 goals and 25 assists as a sophomore ... member of the 2008 Maryland Free State team ... a two-sport standout, starting both ways for the Spalding football team as a wide receiver and safety.
