As a Senior (2009): Started all 12 games at anchor, a strongside defensive end position ... ranked second on the team in sacks (4.5) ... posted the most sacks by a Terps defensive lineman since Dre Moore (6.0 in 2007) ... tied for 13th in the ACC in sacks (0.38 per game) ... ranked fifth on the team in tackles for loss (4.5) ... made four tackles in the season opener against California (9/5) and combined with Adrian Moten on a sack ... recorded a career-high six tackles and blocked a field goal against James Madison (9/12) ... had one sack for a loss of 10 yards against MTSU (9/19) ... recorded two stops, including one sack, against Virginia (10/17) ... had five tackles, including career bests in solo stops (5) and sacks (2) in the season finale vs. Boston College (11/28).
