The victory was the school-record 16th consecutive for the Terps who have not lost since Sept. 6.

Maryland wasted no time as junior Carla Tagliente (Cortland, N.Y.) scored the first goal of the game with only 1:37 elapsed. Hiskins recorded the first of her three assists on that goal. Walter added her first goal of the game just 10 minutes into the contest and freshman Carissa Messimer (Mountaintop, Pa.) gave the Terps a 3-0 halftime lead with 16:53 remaining in the first half.
