GREENSBORO, N.C. - Senior attacker Karri Ellen Johnson was named Atlantic Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week Tuesday.
Johnson, of Annapolis, Md., accumulated six goals, eight draw controls and an assist in Maryland's two victories on the week. With a pair of goals against Richmond on Tuesday, Johnson became only the third player in Maryland women's lacrosse history to record 200 career goals.
The senior also racked up a game-high four goals against Boston College on Saturday while tallying six second-half draw controls to lead the Terrapins to victory.
Maryland will play host to Stony Brook on Tuesday before traveling to James Madison for a Saturday afternoon contest.
Virginia goalie Kim Kolarik was named ACC Defensive Player of the Week.
