CHARLESTON, S.C. - Senior defender London Woodberry tallied a career-high two goals to help No. 1 Maryland remain unbeaten in 2012 with a 3-2 win at College of Charleston Saturday.
The Terps (8-0-1, 3-0-0 ACC) overcame a 2-1 deficit to pick up their seventh consecutive victory this season. Woodberry and freshman David Kabelik, who notched the second goal of the game, became the 11th and 12th Terrapins to score this season, respectively.
Senior Taylor Kemp, who returned from a nagging injury, notched two assists to lead Maryland.
Following a Sean de Silva goal in the 19th minute, the Terps answered on Woodberry's first goal since 2010. Freshman Tsubasa Endoh earned an assist with a perfect corner to Woodberry's head for the early equalizer in the 33rd minute.
Francis Twohig put College of Charleston (4-6) back on top heading into halftime with an unassisted goal in the 43rd minute.
Kemp served up Maryland's two final goals, aiding Kabelik in the 66th minute and setting up Woodberry's second notch of the game with a free kick in the 84th.
Keeper Keith Cardona earned his sixth win of the year.
Maryland returns to action with a highly-anticipated match against league-rival Virginia on Fox Soccer Channel Friday night under the lights at Ludwig Field.
