- Maryland scored 63 points, marking the post points scored in a game by the Terps since 1954 against Missouri (74-13)

- Maryland has also opened the season with 50+ points in back-to-back games for the first time in history

  •  It was the first time scoring 50+ points in consecutive games since 1951 against NC State and West Virginia 

- The Maryland offense racked up 534 total yards of offense – the most since totaling 656 at Rutgers (11/28/15)

- The Maryland offense also had 367 rushing yards – the most in a game since the Terps had 400 against Purdue (10/1/16)

- Junior wide receiver DJ Moore scored three touchdowns (2 rec, 1 rush) for the first time in his career, totaling 163 all-purpose yards.

  • He also tied his career-high with two touchdown receptions – second time in his career – last was at FIU (9/9/16)
  • He now has 12 career TD receptions, moving into a tie for seventh in Maryland history with Gary Collins (1959-61)

- Junior running back Ty Johnson ran for 124 yards on just five carries

  • It marked his 4th consecutive rushing game, becoming the 4th player in MD history to achieve the feat (Steve Atkins – 1978, Charlie Wysocki – 1980, Bruce Perry – 2001)
  • Ty Johnson has totaled 256 rushing yards in the first two games on just 17 carries – averaging 15.1 yards/carry
  • He is also the first player since Keon Lattimore (2007) to open the season with back-to-back 100-yard rushing games (thanks Patrick Stevens!) 

- True freshman quarterback Kasim Hill made his first career collegiate start

  • Including his 3-for-3 day, Hill opened his career with 11 consecutive pass completions

- Darnell Savage, Jr. notched his second career INT and first career TD – it was the first INT return for TD since Jermaine Carter, Jr. at FIU (9/9/16)
