The Terps came to life in the second stanza, beginning with a goal at 24:52 by Cummings. The Tigers notched a goal three minutes later for a 6-4 contest before Maryland went on a promising 3-0 run, highlighted by tallies from Zoe Stukenberg, Beth Glaros and Griffin for a 7-6 Terrapin advantage with 10 minutes to play.

Princeton knotted the game at 7-7 with 4:54 remaining before McPartland's free position goal gave the Terps their 14th win on the year.

Cummings posted six draw controls to lead the Terps. Glaros added three ground balls and two caused turnovers to aid in the defensive effort.

"I'm proud of how we fought back and found a way to win tonight," head coach Cathy Reese said.
