2012 Terps Women's Lacrosse Preview

Maryland boasts four preseason All-Americans

As a Sophomore in 2012: Appeared in seven games...scored one goal against Virginia Tech (4/14) and in the ACC quarterfinals against the Hokies (4/20)...tallied a ground ball against Delaware...has tallied two goals on two shots for a 1.000 shooting percentage.

As a Freshman in 2011: Appeared in Maryland wins against Delaware (2/16), George Mason (3/8), Stony Brook (3/22), No. 12 Princeton (4/13) and Virginia Tech (4/16)...scored first career goal at Stony Brook...tallied a ground ball and a caused turnover vs. Mason...registered a draw control against Princeton.

Prep: Two-sport standout in lacrosse and soccer at North Harford...earned honorable mention all-county accolades in soccer as a senior and lacrosse as a junior...helped lead North Harford to states as a freshman.

Personal:Born September 26, 1992...daughter of Scott and Lisa Angstadt...has one brother, Scott, and two sisters, Sarah and Teresa...recognized as a Maryland Distinguished Scholar and volunteered at the Special Olympics, Beans and Bread, and Maryland School for the Blind...second degree black belt in Karate...came to Maryland because "when I stepped on campus I realized I was born to be a Terp"... career plan is to become an elementary school physical education teacher for the mentally major.
