Brandon Sinnott is in his second year as an assistant coach at Maryland.

Sinnott came to Maryland after a stellar career at Central Michigan where he won three straight Mid-American Conference championships. He served as the graduate assistant at CMU in 2008-09, helping the Chippewas to a 17-4 record and 14th place finish at the NCAA Championships.

Sinnott, a two-time All-American, won MAC titles at 174 pounds in 2006, 2007 and 2008. He finished seventh at the NCAA Championships in 2007 and fifth in 2008 and is one of just eight individuals in CMU history to win at least three individual MAC titles. Sinnott is also ranked seventh in CMU history in career wins and ninth in career winning percentage.

He earned a bachelor's degree in sociology in 2008.
