As a Sophomore (2009-10): Posted a 23-9 record at 141 pounds, mostly in open tournaments ... finished the season a perfect 7-0 in matches decided by pin-fall ... wrestled in six dual meets, winning three times ... also went 1-1 in ACC dual meets with a win over Mike Bell of Duke ... won 10 of his first 12 matches to open the season ... finished third at the Buffalo Open on Nov. 1 by going 4-1 with two pins ... recovered from an opening-round loss at the National Collegiate Open on Feb. 20 to win five straight, including two by pin-fall.
As a Redshirt Freshman (2008-09): Posted 7-5 record ... won four matches at the "Shorty" Hitchcock Memorial Classic, including two pins.
