Louisville Coach Ken Lolla
Opening statement:
"A lot of credit to Maryland. They're obviously a very good team. Their record shows that they're having a great year. From our perspective, it's tough to be disappointed because we didn't play well. We probably had our worst game of the year and really didn't show from a standpoint of pressure and keeping the ball in play, Louisville was light tonight. Again, I give credit to Maryland; they're a good team."

Junior Defender Andrew Farrell
On losing to Maryland:
"Obviously it's pretty disappointing. We talked about the first 15 minutes being smart, being safe, and we kind of dealt with it pretty well. But we didn't get over the hump, and then [Maryland] got their goal on a restart. We talked about it all week, about how they're pretty good at restarts in the box. We weren't hitting on all cylinders, and it's disappointing. Both times that we came here, we got scored on three times."

Maryland Coach Sasho Cirovski
Opening statement:
"At the end of training yesterday, I met the team in the locker room, and I told them how much I loved them. I told them how proud I am of this year and what they've accomplished to this point, and that no one can take that away from them. The depth we have with our team, and the selflessness and humility that this team has shown, along with the skill and their single-mindedness to make sure we get back to the College Cup has been a source of inspiration and a great joy for me as a coach this year. I knew that we were going to come out with a magical performance tonight, and that's what that was.

"We played a great game against one of the great teams in college soccer, against one of the most well-coached, skillful and determined teams in the country. This game has a lot of intrigue to it and our team came out with a hunger, and tenacity, and a determination and a skillset that carried us through. I am delighted our seniors will have a chance to experience the College Cup. Every player that came here since 1994 has had a chance to play in the College Cup, and this set of seniors was not going to let that pass us by. They worked their butts off. It started the day after we lost to Louisville last year. There were kids already in the weight room and off the field, starting the process. They had a great spring, a great summer, and obviously we're having a great fall.

"But we're not satisfied with just getting to the College Cup. The preparations already started, and we're going to be ready to roll on Friday."

Senior Defender Taylor Kemp
On making it to the College Cup:
"I can't even describe [the feeling]. I'm emotional. After the game, I just couldn't stop smiling. For me and the other seniors and every single player on this team, for the amount of work we put in and everything - I've never been on a team where we do every single thing we can to help each other succeed. You always wonder, is it actually going to pay off and will it matter. This year, I couldn't imagine a better year for this team. It's been tough for me since I haven't been able to be on the field, but that doesn't take away from it. This season - it isn't done for one - but it's one that I'll never forget, and this team is something that has meant to me as much as any team I've ever been on. For me and the seniors and everybody on this team, it's means everything."
