Head Coach Sasho Cirovski
"Wow. Our goal at the beginning of the year was to be the last team standing. Our motto was from the Home Depot Center to Pizza Hut Park."
Comparing his two championship teams...
"All championship teams have different personalities. The 2005 team was special and this one is special. But just like your children, you love them both."
"The leadership of the seniors along with the hunger of the junior class and the sophomore class and the freshmen made this the most balanced team I've ever had."
"It's like the classic, The Tortoise and the Hair. We just kept plugging away."
"It was a tough, tough battle out there. We have a great respect for Carolina."
About starting and ending career with a championship...
"What more can you ask for. Both teams were special in their own ways. I'm extremely happy to be more a part of this one."
On scoring the game winning goal...
"I just happened to be at the right place at the right time. Jeremy (Hall) took the shot initially and it was deflected. I thought the ball was shielded from the goalie so I tried to hook it around him.
On winning the championship...
"I don't really know what to say. I just stopped and didn't go anywhere. I just took it all in. I saw everyone running around me and I was just looking at my family and looking at all the fans that."
