Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach


Will Franco joined the University of Maryland in August 2017 as an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach responsible for Baseball, Field Hockey, Men’s and Women’s Golf.

Before arriving in College Park, Will was an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at the College of the Holy Cross working primarily with Baseball, Men’s Lacrosse, Women’s Volleyball, Field Hockey, Swimming and Diving, and assisting with Football. Will was also a Graduate Fellow at Merrimack College. There he worked with Baseball Pitchers and Women’s Lacrosse. He has interned at the University of Massachusetts Amherst working with Football and Baseball, and interned at the College of the Holy Cross working at Jeff Oliver’s Be Athletic Jacked on the Hill Program.

Will received his Masters of Science in Exercise and Sport Science at Merrimack College in 2016. He received his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2015. Will is Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association.
