RALEIGH, N.C. - Junior David Kocher finished tied for fourth in the individual standings to lead the Maryland men's golf team in the Wolfpack Spring Open this weekend at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course in Raleigh, N.C.
As a team, the Terrapins finished fifth out of 16 teams with a combined score of 851 (279-279-293), which was one-under par total.
"Solid week for our guys this week," head coach Jason Rodenhaver said. "We've been playing well for the past two weeks. All five guys contributed. Hopefully, we can carry this momentum into the conference tournament."
Kocher went six-under par total with a score of 207 (68-68-71) to finish tied for fourth, his second top-10 finish and sixth top-20 finish this year.
Sophomore Timothy Colanta finished tied for 29th with his score of 215 (68-71-76), which was two-over.
Freshman Bennett Buch earned a score of 220 (72-74-74), which was +7.
Sophomore Reilly Erhardt shot a 230 (79-72-79) as an individual.
Next, the Terrapins will compete in the Big Ten Championship April 28-30 at the Five Farms East Golf Course at Baltimore Country Club.
