2017 Outdoor: Competed at nine events…finished 6th in the javelin throw (34.65m), 4th in the 100H (15.25), 3rd in the shotput (12.50m), and placed 1st in the 4x400m relay (3:47.96) at the Maryland Invitational (3/18)…placed 3rd in the high jump (1.65m), and 6th in the 800m (2:13.09), javelin throw (37.83m), and the 4x400m relay (3:59.09) during the UNF Spring Break Invitational (3/24)…finished 18th in the 400H (1:00.79) and took 6th place in the high jump (1.68m) at the Florida Relays (3/30-4/1)…finished 13th in the 100H (15.58), 6th in the 400H (1:02.47), 5th in the high jump (1.61m), and 4th in the javelin throw (39.27m) at the Virginia Quad (4/8)…finished 14th in the 100m (12.88) and placed 6th in the 100H (15.65) at the Hopkins Invitational (4/14)…took 3rd place in the heptathlon with 5229 points including a 1st place finish in the 800m (2:13.63) at the Virginia Challenge (4/21-22)…captured 3rd place in the high jump (1.66m) and finished 2nd in the 400H (1:01.05) at the Kehoe Twilight Meet (5/5)…finished 4th in the heptathlon with 5307 points including a 1st place finish in the 800m (2:11.43) during the Big Ten Championships (5/12-14).

2017 Indoor: Notched podium finish (3rd) in the pentathlon at B1G Championships...competed at seven events…placed 5th in the 500m (1:15.91) and took 2nd place in the 4x400m relay (3:48.50) and the high jump (1.70m) at the Wagner Invitational (1/6)…finished 12th in the 60H (9.51), 2nd in the DMR (11:37.01), and won the high jump (1.70m) at the Nittany Lion Challenge (1/14)…finished 13th in the 60H (9.42), 7th in the shotput (12.52m), 6th in the long jump (5.34m), and 1st in the 4x400m relay (3:47.46) during the Terrapin Invitational (1/21)…had top 10 finishes in the 800m (2:12.98) and in the high jump (1.76m) at the Penn State National (1/27-28)…finished 3rd in the pentathlon with 4025 points including 1st place finishes in the shotput (13.57m) and the 800m (2:13.53) at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational (2/3-4)…had top 15 finishes in the 600m (1:33.49), high jump (1.63m), and 4x400m relay (3:49.01) at the SPIRE NCAA D1 Indoor Track Meet (2/10-11)…finished 3rd in the pentathlon with 3945 points including 1st place finishes in the shotput (12.95m) and the 800m (2:11.07) during the Big Ten Championships (2/24-25).

Before Maryland: Played basketball and ran track at Bill Crothers Secondary School…two-time New Balance Nationals Pentathlon Champion…won the 2015 New Balance Nationals Heptathlon Championship…earned New Balance All-American honors six times…nine-time OFSSA Medalist (Provincial High School Championships)…named Ontario Jumper of the Year in 2015 and in 2016...Ontario Multi-Eventer of the Year in 2015 and 2016…holds records in Youth Provincial Pentathlon, Youth Provincial Heptathlon, Junior Provincial Heptathlon and the Junior Provincial Pentathlon…lists personal bests of 100m- 12.92, 200m- 25.61, 400m- 55.11,  800m- 2:09.77,  1500m- 4:45.56, 100m hurdles – 15.03,  400m hurdles- 1:00.41,  high jump- 1.79m, long jump- 5.51m, shot put – 12.80m,  javelin-  37.00m…made honor roll in all four years of high school.

Personal: Daughter of Les and Chantal Huggins…sports heroes are Brianne Theison Eaton, Alllyson Felix and Jackie Joyner Kersee...lists biggest sports thrill as the feeling of accomplishment at the end of a heptathlon…came to Maryland because it had the programs she wanted and the level of coaching and competition she desired.
