As a Freshman (2016): Appeared in 36 game with six starts…was one of Maryland’s most effective pinch hitters and finished with a .306 average with an OBP of .359 and slugging percentage of .389…recorded eight RBI with three runs scored…made his debut against Rhode Island and notched his first collegiate hit (2/27)…entered mid-game against Delaware and went 1-for-2 with a double and two RBI (3/8)…started his first college game against George Washington and went 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI (3/9)…started against Liberty and went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI (3/22)…notched a hit and a run scored in a start at DH against VCU (3/29)…hit a pinch hit, walk-off single against Ohio State (4/10)…recorded a pinch hit RBI single at Minnesota (4/15)…made a start at DH at Minnesota (4/16)…went 1-for-1 against Illinois (5/7)…had a pinch hit single at Michigan State (5/21)…notched a pinch hit single against Michigan State at the Big Ten Tournament (5/27).

Before Maryland: Played at Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School…batted .436 his senior season en route to receiving honorable mention All-American honors from Perfect Game…was a four-time Suburban Council All-Star…earned 2015 Suburban Council Co-Player for the Year honors…named first-team All-State and All-Region as a senior…also played football and helped the Spartans win the 2012 NYS Class A State Championships…named the state finals MVP after rushing for 128 yards and two touchdowns in the title game…two-time Section 2 Class A first-team selection as a running back.

Personal: Son of Daniel and Maria Maynard…has two siblings, Ricky and Kayla…father played baseball and mother played softball and soccer at Lafayette College…graduated high school with an advanced regents diploma and received the health and principals award…lists his sports hero as Bo Jackson.
