Benjamin Nash was named assistant equipment manager with the University of Maryland in June, 2014.  Nash, who is the primary equipment manager for the men’s basketball and wrestling teams, directs the ordering and distribution of equipment and apparel for both programs.  Nash’s additional responsibilities include overseeing the locker room and facilities for student-athletes and coaches at XFINITY Center.  He is also the liaison between the equipment department and Under Armour – the official outfitter of Maryland’s varsity intercollegiate athletics programs.

Prior to joining Maryland, Nash served as an assistant equipment manager at Virginia, working with the football program  during the 2014 season. Nash also was an assistant equipment manager at UCONN during the 2013-14 season and was the head student equipment manager at Towson University from 2011-13.  He also served as regional sales executive at Bolt Athletics from 2010-11.

A 2013 graduate Towson University, Nash earned a degree in sports management with a minor in business.
