Megan Rogers was hired in 2012 to join the Sports Medicine Department at the University of Maryland, where she serves as the primary athletic trainer for the women’s basketball team. Megan was a part the Terrapin team that returned to the Final Four in 2014.

Megan came to the University of Maryland from the University of Miami where she served as the rehabilitation coordinator. While in Coral Gables, Megan oversaw the post operative rehabilitation for all student-athletes, in addition to providing day-to-day coverage for football and men’s tennis.  

Megan obtained her master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Florida in 2005. At UF, Megan interned in the strength and conditioning department with women’s golf, women’s soccer, women’s basketball and men’s and women’s swimming and diving while also interning in the athletic training department with football.

In 2003, Megan graduated from The State University of New York at Cortland earning a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training and Kinesiology with a minor in exercise science.

A native of Syracuse, NY, Megan currently resides in Silver Spring, MD.
