COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Maryland volleyball coaching staff, including head coach Steve Aird, will host its first Spring Youth Clinic Saturday, May 10, from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. in Comcast Center Pavilion.
Designed to assist, introduce, and teach fundamentals of the sport of volleyball, the camp will include all of the basic skills associated with the sport (passing, attacking, blocking, individual defense, etc.)
The majority of daily practice is spent on introduction of basic skills in a fun and safe learning environment. Every player at camp will have the chance to learn every skill, making the youth camp one of the best experiences for beginners and young players.
The cost of the clinic is $30 and those who plan to attend should RSVP by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
On-site registration will be available in addition to online registration.

Time: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Location: Comcast Center Pavilion on the campus of the University of Maryland

The Maryland volleyball team began a new era when it hired head coach Steve Aird to lead the program into the Big Ten Conference next season. Just months removed from helping Penn State capture the national title in November as an assistant coach, Aird has hit the ground running at Maryland. In addition to Aird, the clinic will feature instruction from members of the Maryland coaching staff: Adam Hughes, Kristin Kenney and Stephen Yates. Several current Maryland players will also be in attendance as instructors.
