STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - Senior Sean Bosdosh and junior Connor Tendall both tied for 11th on the leaderboard to lead the Maryland men's golf team to a top-five finish at Penn State's Rutherford Intercollegiate Sunday.
Bosdosh moved up Sunday from being tied for 19th after Saturday's two rounds. He went one-over with a 72 Sunday. Tendall went five-over Sunday with a 76 for his best finish of his career. Both scored a 218 on the weekend.
Sophomore Tom Harris finished in the top 20 Sunday, after shooting a one-over 72 in the third and final round. He ended up tied for 19th with a score of 220 (77-71-72).
"We played good golf at times this weekend," assistant coach Steven Delmar said. "There were definitely some positives throughout the entire lineup we can draw on for the ACC Tournament next weekend."
Andrew Stein shot a 75 Sunday for a total score of 223 (76-72-75). Freshman Victor Fox had his best round of the weekend Sunday, finishing with a 238 (81-82-75). Junior Eric Urda shot a 252 (85-83-84).
Next, the Terrapins will compete in the ACC Championships next Friday through Sunday at the Old North State Club in New London, N.C.
