Under the direct supervision of the Deputy Athletics Director-External Relations, the Associate Athletics Director – Development & External Services will serve as the lead annual fund fundraiser, will oversee operations of the Terrapin Club Scholarship Fund and will lead a staff of five. The Associate Athletics Director – Development & External Services is responsible for leading the annual fundraising activities including Terrapin Club Scholarship Fund annual solicitations, marketing, communications, membership acquisition, gift renewals, events and the stewardship of annual fund donors; provide leadership and management of Terrapin Club Scholarship Fund (TCSF) annual fund staff focused on annual giving donor engagement; management of robust portfolio of high-end annual gift prospects-including outreach and solicitation; ticket and benefit related giving initiatives; Annual Fund Campaign Leadership; primary liaison with TCSF Advisory Board; football and basketball donation seating; donor retention and new engagement strategies; implement and manage donor/customer experience program; direct oversight of Ticket Operations, Sales and Service Units; collaborate with other external unit heads to integrate CRM structure focused on data integrity and systematic communication between CRM tools, sales leads, athletic ticketing system (Paciolan) and University gift system (Advance).
