COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland men's golf team will play in the Rutherford Intercollegiate this weekend, hosted by Penn State at the Penn State Blue Course in State College, Pa. The tournament will begin Saturday and go through Sunday.

The Terrapins will compete against Penn State, Minnesota, Xavier, Bowling Green State, Eastern Michigan, Rutgers, Seton Hall, University of Connecticut, Army, Binghamton, Youngstown State, La Salle and Wright State.
The Terps are coming off of a solid weekend at the River Landing Intercollegiate in Wallace, N.C. They finished fourth as a team, with Sean Bosdosh and Andrew Stein both tying for fourth on the leaderboard with their -1 score of 215 on the weekend. Connor Tendall finished tied for 17th in the standings.
The Penn State Blue Course is a par-71 course and covers 7,202 yards. The renovated Blue Course hosted its first major amateur event in 2009, the Big Ten Men's Golf Championship. With the updates and improvements made in 2007, the Blue Course now proudly sits with some of the top courses in the Big Ten. The Blue Course has hosted numerous events conducted by the USGA, FCWT, AJGA, IJGT, PGA Junior Series and the West Penn Golf Association.
