COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland women’s golf team wraps up its spring regular season competition at the Web.com Intercollegiate April 7-8 at the Marsh Landing Country Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.
The Terps will take to the Par 72, 5,967 yard-course for a shotgun start Monday morning, with the conclusion Tuesday.
Other teams at the invitational include UCF, Ohio State, Louisville, Florida State, Illinois, Minnesota, East Carolina, Chattanooga, FIU, Missouri, Toledo, Michigan, North Florida, Cincinnati, James Madison, Sam Houston State and McNeese State.
Freshman Alexandria Papell posted a collegiate-best 217 to finish tied for second place at the Briar's Creek Invitational in Maryland’s last action.
Papell recorded a 72 in the final round after scoring a 71 and 74 in first and second round action, respectively. She was two strokes behind tournament champion Christina Vosters of Penn State.
