COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The University of Maryland announced today that Tim Horsmon has accepted the position as head volleyball coach at Dayton and will begin his duties with the Flyers immediately. Horsmon compiled a 79-114 (.409) record in six seasons with the Terrapins.
Prior to joining the Terps, Horsmon garnered a 128-43 (.748) record over five seasons at Dayton from 2003 to 2007.
“We thank Tim for his six seasons at Maryland and wish him the best in his future endeavors,” said director of athletics Kevin Anderson. “We will begin a national search to find an outstanding candidate as we transition into the Big Ten Conference.”
“I want to thank Kevin Anderson and Lori Ebihara for their support during my six years at Maryland,” Horsmon said. “I enjoyed working with so many dedicated and committed people who contributed to the program.”
