COLLEGE PARK, Md. – No. 8 Maryland women’s basketball will host Ohio State Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. The Terrapins are the only team in either conference to remain undefeated in Challenge play. They are 6-0 since it started in 2007.

Maryland (7-1) is coming off of two wins over the weekend in the San Juan Shootout in Puerto Rico. The Terrapins cruised past Texas Southern, 100-59, and Ohio, 84-60.
Against the Bobcats Saturday, freshman Lexie Brown notched a career-high 16 points and Preseason All-American Alyssa Thomas added her seventh straight double-double with 13 points and 10 boards. Sophomore Malina Howard added 13 points and redshirt sophomore Brene Moseley picked up 12 points and nine assists.
Maryland is 2-2 all-time vs. the Buckeyes (6-3). The Terps won the last meeting, 77-53, on Nov. 30, 2007, in the inaugural Big Ten/ACC Challenge.
The Terrapins are ranked No. 8 in the latest Associated Press and USA Today National Coaches polls.
After Wednesday’s matchup, the Terrapins will host Siena (3-2) Monday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. at Comcast Center.
