COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland is set to begin the week with a trip to Richmond to take on VCU on Tuesday and play host to Mt. St. Mary’s on Wednesday. The Terps (19-17) and Rams will get underway at 6 p.m. from The Diamond.

The Terps and Mountaineers are now scheduled for a 6:30 p.m. first pitch from Bob “Turtle” Smith Stadium.

The matchup with VCU is the second time in a week the Terps and Rams have faced off. Maryland won 6-5 in 11 innings on April 9. The two squads play one more time in College Park on May 8.

Following a strong performance against the Rams last week, freshman LHP Alex Robinson is scheduled to take to the mound once again for the Terps. Robinson held VCU to three earned runs on seven hits over six innings with two strikeouts. In his last two midweek starts, Robinson has a 2.25 ERA and is averaging six strikeouts per nine.

On Wednesday at George Mason, the Terps scored a season-high 16 runs and tied a season high with 17 hits. Charlie White has been the team’s catalyst against non-conference opponents. White leads the team with a .418 batting average and a .541 OBP.

White has stolen 23 of his ACC-leading 33 bases against non-conference opponents. On Sunday against Miami, White tied Larry Long for the most stolen bases in a single season in program history. The sophomore will be looking to break the record against the Rams on Tuesday.

The pitching matchup for Maryland and Mt. St. Mary’s has yet to be announced.
