State College, Pa. - Propelled by strong performances from Sean Bosdosh, Tom Harris and Ben Warnquist, the Maryland men's golf team holds a nine-stroke lead at the Rutherford Intercollegiate. The tournament wraps up on Sunday.

After a second-round 69, Bosdosh is in second place at two-over par, two shots behind leader JD Domes of Penn State. Bosdosh opened with a four-over par 75. Bosdosh and Domes both shot 69 in the second round and were the only players in the 75-man field to shoot in the 60s in either of the first two rounds.

Harris, meanwhile, shot 74 on the first 18 and 72 on the second 18, and is tied for fourth overall at 4-over par. Warnquist is tied for ninth after shooting a seven-over 149 (76-73) on the day and gives Maryland a third golfer in the top 10. Jordan Sweet also had a solid day, shooting 150 (77-73) to finish the day tied for 17th.

The Terps, who were tied for first with Binghamton after the first 18 holes, opened up their nine-shot lead with a tremendous second round. With Bosdosh's 69, Harris's 72, and Warnquist and Sweet's 73s, Maryland was three over par in the second round. That gave the Terps a 589 through Saturday's play.

Penn State is in second place after shooting a 598, while Minnesota is third at 600.
