GREENSBORO, N.C. – Junior Sean Bosdosh was named to the All-ACC Men’s Golf team today along with 11 players from other conference institutions. Bosdosh established himself as one of the most consistent golfers in the ACC this year, and earned an individual bid to the NCAA Regional tournament in Tallahassee, Florida.
Bosdosh finished 15th in the ACC in scoring average (72.35) this year and his season accolades included two individual tournament wins at the VCU Shootout and the Firestone Invitational. The Clarksburg, Md. native’s 72.35-season average is the third best in Maryland history, and he recorded a streak of ten straight top-20 finishes over the course of the year.
"I'm very happy for Sean for receiving this honor," said Director of Intercollegiate Golf Jason Rodenhaver. "He worked hard throughout year, and it paid of when he earned an individual bid to the Tallahassee Regional. He is very deserving, and I hope he continues to get better from here on out."
