Bosdosh Trails Early at NCAA Regional

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Junior Sean Bosdosh shot a five-over 77 and is currently tied for 66th after the first day of the NCAA Regional Tournament at Golden Eagle Golf and Country Club.

The Clarksburg, Md. native is playing as an individual for the Terps, and has the opportunity to advance to the National Championship in Atlanta, Georgia. Bosdosh is nine strokes behind the individual leaders Edward Figueroa from Florida Golf Coast and Daniel Walker from Richmond. Both shot a 68 in the opening round, and are tied for sixth overall.

North Florida currently holds the team lead after shooting a 16-under 272 as a team in the opening round. The tournament leader is MJ Maguire from North Florida who shot a seven-under 65 in the first round. The field will tee off tomorrow morning beginning at 8:00 a.m. for the second round of play.
