COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland women's basketball team released its Atlantic Coast Conference matchups for the 2013-14 season Wednesday. The ACC slate is highlighted by home-and-home matchups with Georgia Tech and Syracuse, as well as a College Park game vs. Notre Dame.
With the addition of three teams this season, the Terrapins will only play Georgia Tech and Syracuse twice. The Terps will play the 12 other teams once each.
Three 2013 NCAA Tournament teams will make their way to College Park in Syracuse, Florida State and Notre Dame. In addition to Georgia Tech, Clemson, Wake Forest, Virginia Tech and Pitt will also come to Comcast Center.
Maryland will face Boston College, Duke, Miami, North Carolina, NC State and Virginia each once and on the road.
The Terrapins have finished in the top four of the ACC in seven of the last eight years. Since head coach Brenda Frese took over in 2002, the Terps are 106-58 (.646) in ACC games.
Maryland led the ACC in attendance this past season, with 81,821 fans coming to Comcast Center.
