Lori Ebihara
Position: Senior Associate Athletics Director / Senior Women's Administrator
Lori Ebihara joined the University of Maryland athletics staff in October 2011 as the Senior Associate Athletics Director/Chief of Staff and Senior Woman Administrator. In that role, she has oversight for strategic planning and advancement, academics, and national governance and conference policy initiatives. As the senior woman administrator, she is the department's liaison to the ACC. In addition, Ebihara guides the department's sports administration efforts as the sport supervisor for softball and women's volleyball.

Ebihara joined the Maryland staff from Baylor University, where she worked since 2010 as the Senior Associate Athletics Director for Compliance, Governance and Risk Assessment. Prior to that post, she served as the Assistant Commissioner for Governance, Compliance and Academics at the Big 12 Conference from 1996 to 2010. Ebihara began her career in athletics administration in 1992 as an NCAA Administration and Finance Intern. Following her time at the national office, she was the Director of Compliance at the Big Eight Conference from 1993-1996.

Ebihara has served on many prominent NCAA committees, including the Division I Legislative Council, Division I Academic/Eligibility/Compliance Cabinet, Sportsmanship and Ethical Conduct Committee, and Minority Opportunities and Interests Committee. Her current Atlantic Coast Conference appointments include the Equity Committee, Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, Student-Athlete Welfare Committee, Women's Gymnastics Committee, and Wrestling Committee.

The Oberlin, Ohio native received a B.A. in Journalism from The Ohio State University in 1988.
